Inspections
Vehicle maintenance and inspection requirements are outlined in the FMCSR. ARL/MIA requires that each inspection report be sent into the corporate office. In addition to federal requirements ARL/MIA requires that each owner submit a maintenance report each quarter for all pieces of equipment. Also each piece of equipment is required to be inspected again semi annually by an inspection station authorized by the motor carrier . This inspection is in addition to the annual inspection outlined in Section 396.17.The semi annual inspection is paid by the company.
All road side inspections are reviewed and verified that corrections have been made. ARL/MIA receives copies of all road side inspections from an outside source. They get all their information from the Department of Transportation in Washington, D.C.. Each road side inspection that is done in all states are down loaded to Washington. By reviewing these reports ARL/MIA is able to verify all defects are corrected and enables ARL/MIA to discipline Owner/Operator that do not comply with federal regulations. ARL/MIA can remove any equipment from our fleet that is determined to be non road worthy by both ARL’s standards and the D.O.T. standards.
Logs

Accidents
All accidents and cargo claims are reviewed by an accident/claims review board to determine how preventable the accident was and if ARL will continue using the services of the Owner/Operator.
Safety Program
