WAMCO SCORING

Mercer County Stations
Out-of-County Stations
Example: W3CJF, located in Sharon, works 40 QSO's and 25 different multipliers. 40 x 25 = 1000 pts.
(Multi-Op, Single -Op, Single-Op Handheld)
(Multi-Op, Single-Op, Mobile Single & Multi-op)
Total QSO's x Multipliers = Total Points

Mobile Stations - Mercer County Only
Mobile stations qualify for a 400 point bonus for each area operated from, if they make 5 or more QSO's from that area. Please refer to the Official List of Multipliers. The same basic formula applies to Mobile stations.

Example: K3DR Mobile makes 10 QSO's and 6 Multipliers from Deer Creek Township, then makes 5 QSO's and 2 Multipliers from Greenville. K3DR's scoring is: 10 QSO's x 6 Multipliers = 60 Pts. + 400 (Bonus) = 460 Total Points Then, 5 QSO's x 2 Multipliers = 10 Pts. + 400 (Bonus) = 410 Total Points Combine the two area scores and K3DR has a Grand Total of 870 points.

  Total QSO's x Multipliers + Bonus( 400 pts. per area with 5 QSO's) = Total Points

All Handheld Stations
In Mercer County & Out of Mercer County

Example: N3IDG makes 30 QSO's with 15 Multipliers. 30 QSO's x 15 Multipliers = 450 Pts. x 2 = 900 Total Points.

The same scoring procedure is used for Handheld Stations but the total score is multiplied by 2.
