    I have been honored to have been asked by the new Atlantic Division Director, Bernie Fuller N3EFN, to replace him as the new Atlantic Division Vice Director.  After consideration, I told him that I would be happy to help in that capacity.
     Naming my replacement as the WPA Section Manager was an easy task.  We have a number of qualified individuals on the WPA Section Staff, but John Rodgers N3MSE has served as the WPA Assistant Section Manager for the last several years.  I have come to rely upon John's good judgment and good advice.
    This Saturday, January 27th, John will assume the role of WPA Section Manager.  Please give John the tremendous support you have given me.
    Through the years that John and I have worked together, we have worked very closely so that everything issue that came up, John was also very much aware and involved in the process.
     I have enjoyed serving as the WPA Section Manager, and I know that the WPA Section will be in good hands.  I will still be serving the WPA Section, but in a different capacity and along with several other sections.
    Thank you for all of your help through the years.  I have met many good friends through this wonderful hobby, and I know we'll still be running into each other in the future.  73, - Bill Edgar N3LLR   Atlantic Division Vice Director

Friday Dinner:  The MCARC now meets informally for dinner on Friday evenings at The Cookery on Route 18 in Hermitage at 8:30 pm

Saturday Breakfast:  Burger King, State Street, Hermitage, PA, 9:00 am

Friday Nite Workshop:  Good Life Center @ UPMC Horrizon Medical Center, Farrell, PA.  8:00 pm [1st Friday of the month]
Don't forget to check in to the THURDSAY NITE NETS; 8:30 pm on 28.450 (10 mtrs) and 9:00 pm on the W3LIF repeater - 145.350 (-)
Next VE session will be on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2000 at the Mercer County 911 bldg. located in Mercer Pa.  Registration is at 9:00 am. with testing at 10:00 am.
