CLUB PICNIC: Tom, K3TG entertained motion to hold picnic at the Buhl Park and to allocate $100.00 for food, drinks, etc. Bob Drexler, WA3ZOE accepted the motion to Paul, KFOOX seconded the motion, motion carried. Dave Magargee, N3CM asked for discussion on motion, wanted to know how much was spent for last year's picnic, $89 was spent. LICENSING RESTRUCTURING: The licensing restructuring takes effect on Saturday, April 15, 2000. Those with a technician before March 21, 1987 can complete appropriate paperwork and receive General license. And those who have CSCE dated April 17, 1999 or after may also apply for a General license. More information may be obtained on the web and QST.
LEAGUE: ARRL has purchased Communications Quarterly from CQ Commnunications. they will merge with CEX. Subscribers will see change starting with the March/April issue of QEX.
CONTEST: ARRL CW DX Contest on the weekend of February 19/20, 2000 and Breezeshooters will hold their annual Ground Wave Contest on February 19, 2000. The ground wave contest is a 10 meter contest.
MEETING: Next month's meeting will return to the Good Life Center at the Farrell Hospital.
DRAWING: Subscription to World Radio, copper braiding donated by N3CM, January and February issue of World Radio and the 1999/2000 Repeater Directory. $17 was collected.
Hospitality: Doug Noder, N3FYV volunteered to take over as hospitality chairman.
