Results from the 1999 Pennsylvania QSO Party show the MCARC placed 26th out of 33 entries in the "Club Competition" category. AA3EW, KB8YBE, & K3TG as a trio scored a combined 58,444 points.  Individually K3TG worked 311 CW QSO's resulting in 45,924 points. Tom took first place for Mercer County this year & received a nice certificate. He also placed 14th in the "Top 20 CW Division".  KB8YBE scored 7th out of 17 entries received in the W8 "Out of State" category with 166 QSO's, 61 out of 67 counties, scoring 10,526 points. Nice job Jerry!  Steve AA3EW contributed 1,994 points by working 46 QSO's & 34 counties. It was good to have his score added to the MCARC's. On another note our representatives from the ARRL deserve some recognition. Kay Craigie WT3P, ARRL Vice President took first place in Chester County with 685 QSO's good for 109,225 points. WT3P was first in the Mid Atlantic ARC out of 4 entries received, & 9th in the Eastern PA "Medium Power Division, Top 20".  Bernie Fuller N3EFN, our ARRL Director got 1st place in Crawford County by a close 670 points with a score of 15,925 points.  Section Manager John Rodgers N3MSE scored 2nd in Butler County with 29,270 points. Congratulations to all of you for your fine efforts.  This year's event will be held the weekend of October 14th & 15th, & the MCARC has been tabbed the Special Event Station along with K3LR. I'm sure Tim will have additional information available for us in the very near future.
