...Just a reminder that the MCARC FIELD DAY will be held this year at Buhl Park, in Sharon, PA, near the "kite field."  Tentative plans call for possibly "shooting" the dipoles Friday evening and continuing with the station setup on mid morning on Saturday.  This year's event will be a "casual" event similar to past years to allow as many club members to operate as possible.  We will again have both a CW and Phone station, as well as a station for 10, 6, and 2 meters.  N8PY will provide computers for each station logging with one of the computers setup for PSK-31 in case any member wishes to try his/her hand at that mode of operation.  We encourage all members to stop by on Saturday or Sunday morning.  Any one that can lend his/her hand for the setup on Saturday morning...the help will certainly be welcome.

DAYTON SPECIAL EVENT STATION….Mike, NR3C & Linda, N3XZA working the ARRL W1AW Special Event Station as "Guest Operators"  at this years Dayton Hamvention.  Several other club members worked as "Gurest Operators"  as well .  All-in-alll, this years Hamvention was well attended and everyone seemed to have a great time.
