Friday.

OLD BUSINESS:  Foxhunt:  The next Foxhunt is planned to take place on Saturday, December 13.  Participants may meet at the Suburban for breakfast at 8:30 AM.  The hunt will begin at 10 AM with the fox being anywhere in Mercer County.  The frequency to be used is 146.550 MHz.  New Rule:  There must be at least two (2) members in a vehicle.  A prize, selected by the foxhunt committee, will be given to the winning team. Tim Duffy, K3LR, was the previous winner.

Editor:  Tom Galloway, KA3MYM, pointed out that the newsletter editors, from past to present, have done a great job.  As a result of Ed Bailey, Jr., N3CGK, stepping down as newletter editor, some Club members have met unofficially to discuss the loss.  Tom, KA3MYM, reported that these members felt that it was best to form a newsletter committee to share the workload.  Jerry Parkany, KB8YBE, moved to have a newsletter committee put in place.  Tim Duffy, K3LR, seconded the motion. The motion was approved.  Currently, the following members will be helping out in various ways:  Jerry, KB8YBE, will
use publishing software to do the newsletter; Tom, KA3MYM, will write a President's Report; Mike Varga, NR3C, will post and distribute the minutes via packet; Steve Shemancik, AA3EW, will send the Treasurer's report via packet; Linda Yankovich, N3XZA, will act as a "roving reporter" to share and gather information from other Clubs.  All members are encouraged to be of assistance and make contributions.

Equipment:  Tim Duffy, K3LR, is still formulating the equipment list with the Chet Dorsh family.

NEW BUSINESS:  Maintenance Funds:  Barney Scholl, K3LA, moved to allocate a similar amount as the cancelled maintenance agreement into a service sub-account for the repair of the repeater.  There was a short discussion. Tim Duffy, K3LR, seconded the motion.  The motion passed unanimously.
